The iMedia Lounge
The iMedia lounge is a new facility at HLC to develop creativity for students with a real passion for digital media. The new room has been designed to allow students a new and motivational resource to allow creativity to be at the centre of learning and teaching.
If you’re interested in creative media then the iMedia Lounge will allow you to grow your artistic IT skills. The iMedia lounge is a suite of imac computers with the latest in digital software applications with a range of excellent audio and video digital equipment.
The suite will allow the specialised delivery of interactive multimedia design, digital animation, green screen technology, web authoring and audio digital projects.
The iMedia lounge is used for creative projects throughout HLC and local schools.
The OCR IMedia Level 2 course is delivered within the iMedia lounge. This is a GCSE option available to all students in Year 10/11. The course stimulates creativity and allows students to gain real industry skills linked to digital media.
