Catering
HLC operates a Biometric Cashless Catering System in Primary and Secondary
Restaurants.
We have a commitment to Healthy Schools and students will be encouraged to make healthy choices. Our caterers, Eden Catering, have been following the ‘Nutritional Standards’ for school meals since September 2006.
There are three restaurants in the Secondary phase and one in the primary phase. We have worked closely with our caterers to provide high quality meals and we hope the majority of our students will enjoy a school meal each day.
Students are only allowed to consume food in these areas. All students are photographed during their first day at HLC and issued with an individual account where their finger print and a four digit code will be given to revalue their accounts. This is achieved by:
1. Coin/note revaluators. There are 4 machines which accept coins and/or notes. Students can ‘charge’ their accounts at these points which are sited in the Secondary School Restaurant, the Community Café and the Primary School reception area.
If power is lost, the payment tills have a battery backup and the card will still operate.
2. Internet Payments via www.scopay.com/hadleysec
Please see the Internet Payments Guide for Parents for instructions on how to pay for your child's school meals and trips.
