The ABC Day Nursery

Toddlers

Our toddler area has a large carpeted area with under floor heating for floor play and table top activities. Also within this area is a story corner and home corner, this area will also be used for sleep time. The children will sleep on mats with appropriate bedding.

We then have a large area with non slip flooring which will be used for art and craft activites and messy play. Toddlers also have their own door leading to an outside play area which is safe and secure.

Toilet facitlies are also located within the toddler room, offering small toilets, changing facilities and potties for toilet training.

Planning within this area is done on a weekly basis. The main aim of todders is learning through play with language playing a very important role at this stage of their development: this is all reflected within the planning.

The ABC Day Nursery at the Hadley Learning Community offers a warm and friendly environment for children aged between 3 months and 5 years.

Sessional and full day care places are available Monday to Friday between 7.45am and 6pm, for 51 weeks a year.
