The ABC Day Nursery

Babies

Our baby room has three main areas. We have a sleep area where they will be able to sleep in cots, on large floor cushions or sleep mats with the appropriate bedding. While the babies are sleeping they are monitored every ten minutes, sleeping babies are in view of the staff at all times.

We have a large carpeted area with under floor heating for the babies to play. The toys and equipment we provide are stimulating to encourage development and are checked and cleaned on a regular basis.

Finally we have a messy area which is used fort art and craft activities and is also used for meal times.

Within the baby room, they have their own door leading to a secured outdoor play area. Large windows within the baby room will give them the oppurtunity to play in natural daylight.

We also have our own milk kitchen and changing facilities within the baby room.

The baby room staff will plan the baby room activities on a weekly basis ensuring that play and having fun is a priority, taking into account the babies age, routine and stage of development.

The ABC Day Nursery at the Hadley Learning Community offers a warm and friendly environment for children aged between 3 months and 5 years.

Sessional and full day care places are available Monday to Friday between 7.45am and 6pm, for 51 weeks a year.
